Woman dies after being stabbed at Lookout Point in San Pedro
The woman was fatally stabbed at a popular viewpoint in San Pedro on Monday night, Oct. 26, and police were looking for her killer, authorities said.
Los Angeles officers were called to Lookout Point Park, near 36th and Gaffey streets, about 9:30 p.m., Lt. Eric Holyfield said.
They found a woman, possibly in her 20s, with at least one bash wound. She later died at a hospital, Holyfield said.
The Investigators learned the woman was stabbed during a dispute with the suspect, who fled Holyfield said. What they argue about was unknown.
The victim was not publicly identified pending notification of her relatives.
The park offers visitors panoramic views of the Port of Los Angeles Long Beach and the Angels Gate Lighthouse.
